I got onto J., who got onto ezboard and got this message:
Dear ezboard Family, Hello on Monday and thank you for your patience as we continue to restore your data and return our systems to normal operation. We are taking stock of all aspects of the attack and restore processes this morning and we have a board of directors meeting this afternoon to discuss the attack, the restoration process and our next steps. Your ezboard team is working to get data back and to fix the posting/thread issues that some boards have reported. aye, major league attack on eZboard apparently, lost loadsa the stuff over on the Dogwitch boards too.

Yet we notice when there is something wrong but not enough to care because we never bloody talk with eachother anymore!!!!

hay, i'm alive.
i read that hackslash comic thing too. it wasn't bad, but i was a little upset that someone else created a female evil ernie. but aside from that, it was okay. |

I must say, it sure is nice to see that signature again (especially after all these years). Sworn Bloody! Anybody remember me from the ol' Chaos message boards?
After a recent move into a new apartment, I found myself perusing my old collection of comics . . . specifically Lady Death and Evil Ernies comics. They are still as great as ever! |

Thanks, Killer Wolf. I remember your Purgatori fetish distinctly, even looked up the old site (apparently yours is still the first link that pops up in google). When Chaos fell by the wayside, I pretty much dropped comics all together (though the occasional Conan comic snuck in) and have been working in the library the past few years. Hard to believe I was in high school when all this began, and now I'm breaching 30.  Chaos is the spice of life . . .

....got another job, which seems to occupy her for about 27 hours a day 9 days a week (I'm exaggerating) according to a brief e-mail she sent me a few months ago.
She didn't seem very enthused about the EE rebirth, and talking about Chaos! seemed to make her a bit depressed in a 'fings ain't wot they used to be' sense. She used to post very occasionally at selected other boards, signing off as J., rather than Chaosmom. I haven't seen her post at all for several months now. I'd love to read what she has to say about the EE reincarnation at DD, but I wonder whether the autocensor would let her say what she feels? Certainly her attitude was that if Brian wasn't writing it, it wan't going to have the same appeal to her - but that was well before EE actually reappeared. Sworn, bloody! Xetal |
